"It was 5th time I stayed here and it's time for me to write a review on this place. As my daughter will be studying at Postech in next 4 years or so, this hotel is obviously going to be my #1 hotel in Pohang. 1. Location It is not only close to the University but also in a walking distance to "Street of Youth" in SSANG SA (Ssang Yong Intersection) surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, big supermarket in the vicinity of "Street of Youth" 2. "I needed a nice little place to stay during a holiday so we decided to give the Commodore a try. The front desk attendant was very kind and the staff was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable but only drawback was the decor. I used to live in Korea in the 1980’s and the decor was plenty much the same as it was then (smile). Still, this is not a dealbreaker and it is still a nice stay. "

"Really great location! Short walks to the walking mall and Jukdo Market. Short drives to both Yeongildae Beach and Homigot. Room was spacious and housecleaning kept it very clean each day. Our only complaint is that the bed was very hard. We prefer softer beds, but the hard bed is common in Asia so it may work for others."

"The views from the hotel were great. Hotel is clean. Staff is wonderful. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. AC works good. Parking was easy. The hotel is far from most sightseeing spots (45min drive). There are some fish restaurants and some brunch cafe’s in a few minutes drive away. Other than that not much in the area for tourism. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. "
