"Our stay at Hotel Nacional Rio de Janeiro OFICIAL proved to be great, we only wished we could have stayed longer. The ocean view from our room was utterly amazing. The suite was spacious and well designed. We spent a lot of time out in the town, however the highlight of our stay was phonmenal bartender named Wanderson, he took pride in service and even more in his cocktails. We would definitely recommend this property. "

The staff at the hotel were wonderful, the dining and shopping amazing and the beaches unparalleled. My husband even forgot his phone in a cab and it was returned within the hour! "Everything is great at this hotel except for the breakfast. My partner is Brazilian and he said that the breakfast buffet wasn’t Brazilian enough. In my opinion, the quality of the buffet items was poor. The doughnuts were chewy for example. The eggs are a little runny. The coffee is not strong enough.
