Don’t book at last minute because if you make a mistake on the date you can change anything even 1 second after booking. There should be at least a few minutes to adjust your booking 😠

We decided to check out the area on our way home from a road trip and stay one night in Mammoth Lake. This property was rather confusing to find (name outside didn't match). We had a unit with a balcony but it was rather noisy with shuttle busses and construction traffic (this apparently was an "upgrade" because it was a 2 bedroom when we booked a 1-bedroom...rather unncessary). The hot tub nearest our building was under construction, but we did use the one closest to the lobby. The unit itself was fine but showing a lot of wear. We did eat at one of the restaurants attached to the resort and it was fine but crowded. Several of the options were not open or seemed permanently closed. We opted to eat breakfast in town on our way out. The town seemed cute and probably quieter than it would be in ski season.
