"Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house."

"We had a lovely few days in Painswick at the Cotswold lodge. The lodge is spacious, modern, full functional with everything you need for a holiday. The location is perfect for the Cotswolds as a base and painswick is a lovely quiet village with pubs and a small store. We would recommend this location but it is very hilly so you either have to be able to walk or drive a car. Rococo gardens is really interesting."

The wood fired hot tub and outside area is a lovely addition and perfect for a cold evening under the stars! It was so quiet around the property which allowed us to fully relax. "The house was excellent for our visit. Close to the town and our friends. This was good as weather was cold and raining so coming back to a warm house with good facilities was a bonus. The house was well furnished and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. The benefit of the log fire suit well as i said it was cold. We would use the house again if available. "
