"What a surprise this hotel was. Such a gem in Maibu .they give you a super cool car/ surf boards / wet suits . Staff were amazing - so friendly but not over the top so you feel like you’re staying in your own little place. Amazing attention to detail. Coifee brought to your room in the morning. Beautiful roof terrace with an amazing vibe and view. Would love to come back amd surf for a week! "

"Place is beautiful to stay at and since it was in a gated university, it felt safe. Staff was professional and friendly. Lots of parking with a great view of Malibu towards the beach. Fairly convenient to stores, restaurants, and Malibu pier."

"White Marble floors and shower assured us of cleanliness. Sheets were new and bright white. We arrived very early in order to avoid L.A. traffic and the hotel owner (so nice) had his staff clean our room first because the prior occupants had checked out early. This is an old hotel which has been upgraded. Our room was large and had a new comfy chair but since there was a Keurig coffee maker with lots of pods and CoffeeMate creamers and a microwave, a small café table and chairs would have been welcome. Since we were only there for one night, we chose the most economical room. I believe that all the other rooms had patios with a table and chairs. Note: It is just a short walk to a gorgeous beach and 5 minutes drive to a Pavilion Grocery Store and a French patisserie. Also, close by car to some restaurants and a Starbucks. "

"Would definitely stay again, staff is very friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean, and products were top notch. Very cute pool area to hang out and relax in. Really love the little extras this hotel offers like surf boards all the beach necessities like umbrellas, coolers, chairs. Only downside is that you have to drive everywhere in Malibu but that’s nothing to do with the hotel. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as you’re right off the PCH. I slept great! All in all great place. "
