"This is a unique stay in the heart of the historic mining district. It was nice to walk around and see all the original log homes that belonged to the miners.
Our room and adjoining bathroom were both immaculate. It was nice to have use of the kitchen and dining room. The Auberge has a sitting area in the enclosed porch and outdoor patio seating.
It is unusual to remove your shoes at the door but I do understand.
I did not realize immediately that I had to lock the front door behind me (thought it would lock automatically) or that I had to re-enter the code when leaving our room.
It was a lovely, quiet place to stay."
