"The hotel is very nice nice and well kept, however the pool was not terribly inviting. Large rooms comfortable beds and a large breakfast served. No places within walking distance and 7-11 is at least a mile walk as well. Great if you have transportation and good jumping off spot to Doi Tong and border of Myanmar."

"Rimchan is an older style resort in not the most pleasant surroundings but once inside it was very peaceful with lovely pool and gardens. We had 2 triple family rooms and one had a very hard bed. The other room had a bathroom overrun by ants. Fantastic restaurant/bar and we ended up having both lunch and dinner there. The position suited us as we wanted to be close to the Myanmar border. Only real issue we had was the signs at the pool were only written in Thai, with no English translation. The...

"Travelling to new places can be challenging to find the right accommodation. I’m glad I listened to the positive reviews and chose this place to stay. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and hotel in general. Everything was clean and the service was beyond what we expected. Next time we are in Chiang rai, this will be our place. Highly recommend to everyone. Some cool things we liked: location, staff, rooms, laundry on site, bike rentals, free transport to bus, complimentary snacks/fruit/sandwiches in room and at lobby, and the breakfast was delicious. "
