"Quiet area, close to lots of restaurants and shops and cultural events. The outdoor patio area was lovely. Showing some signs of wear on the curtains and carpet - probably time to upgrade/replace. It was a perfect little setup up for us."

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable holiday!! ❤️ "
