"Still under remodeling. Any time during the day you can clearly hear drills and some other construction equipment. So if you are checking in at 1400 hours after a long trip, forget about falling asleep. Room is a-ok. The couch has very questionable cleanliness and is old. So is the carpet. There is no thermostat. It just start running heater as soon as you come in. Bathroom was decent. Breakfast menu is not bad at all and you have some choices. But you have ti pay for it. Not included...

I appreciate the compensation although I do wish I would have been offered credit for my next stay. The upgraded room didn’t feel all too upgraded to me. "This was a great property, especially for me, as I was transitioning throughout Ukraine on the train system. This hotel is right outside the train station within an easy walking distance. "There is a big difference, in many ways, between the rooms with two small beds and the ones with one larger bed. Pay the extra $5, it's completely worth it. "I have just spent a month at the Ibis city centre Kyiv. The hotel and staff were excellent in very difficult circumstances.
