"Wonderful unique hotel. Lovely staff, bedroom and bathroom with a bath which is wonderful to me! I have stayed before and reviewed before; I love it. I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens. "

"Definitely a 5* review, we would definitely stay again. We had a family room so the children had their own bedroom. It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in, immaculate! The breakfast options were fantastic and the staff were all so friendly. We immediately felt relaxed. Locationwise it was a short stroll to the beach or up the hill to the lovely Royal Oak pub. "We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. "Good pub to stay at with reasonable prices, except for the charge to bring your dog. The room for one night was £60 but the fee to bring two dogs was £40. Then they tried to double charge us for the dogs so £80 a night. We complained and they marked it down to £20 per night for the dogs which is about the norm for the area. Beds were comfortable. Will not stay again unless they revisit their per dog/per night charge... "

"Warm welcome. I was allocated a double room with seaview which was very clean and comfortable. It had a good sized television which I appreciated. Also complimentary homemade cake which I enjoyed with my first cuppa. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Would rebook. "

"Amazing stay! Leah and all the staff made our family so welcome the moment we walked in the door. The kids were looked after showing them the skittle alley, darts board and tele, and introduced to all the dogs who they loved! We had plans nearby in the evening but could have happily stayed in the lovely pub all night!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. "Next to Lyme Regis front beach, 1 minute walk. Walking distance to Charmouth beach walking along the beach, 50 minutes and 1.5 miles. Walking distance to Monmouth Beach, ammonite pavement, 20 minutes walk. There’s a pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. You got to book first, one hour each family/room. The services of checking in, breakfast, and so on were professional. Room was clean and quiet. The only downside is some light daints on the carpet floor, but they’re cleaned just hard to remove. This was a very minor issue. My comment is based on the sale price. So it added to the great stay experience."
