The staff and the service was top notch and the room was generally very nice as were the conditions in the hotel and the food was good. We felt very secure inside the hotel. Right outside the hotel on the street, it was not so good as there were men hassling us to get on their horses or taxis and catcalling my girlfriend. However, I can not fault the staff or the conditions inside the hotel.

I liked the location and the lovely grounds. They had entertainers on every night and 3 restaurants available. the rooms were modern and had a lovely view of the Nile. The pool was also nice. Staff was friendly.

Overall a 5-star experience. Restaurants were good with a variety of food. House keeping needs some improvement. Had to call several times to get the towels - they forgot to place towels for our room; no-one answers when you dial the house keeping number. Front desk is too busy to respond to calls. The pool area was nice; walk along the Nile was good too. River Nile view from the balcony room was spectacular. Booked transportation from the concierge and everything went seamless. The staff was courteous. Rooms were nice, quiet; spacious and with comfortable bed.

The hotel is located on the Nile and has all required amenities. The staff were very helpful from Mahmoud the cleaner to the main restaurant manager the front reception staff, the pool staff, the message parlour staff. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I loved this resort! The property is beautiful and well maintained. As soon as we arrived we felt like royalty. All of the employees were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Really nice hotel and had a good stay in general. However, small issues really taint the experience of our stay. Firstly, they have some shops outside the main reception - all very nice shop keepers but after staying a very days it get tiresome having to say no to buying things. One shop sells fake products and extremely high price so my mother ended up getting ripped off. Considering they're on the hotel premises this is very disappointing. Due to their location you can't avoid them when go to and from your room and they're opening all the way till midnight. Everywhere you go in Egypt youll be having to deal with people selling things and services so disappointed that our hotel wasnt a safe place to relax away from this. In general, the hotel is at the higher end of prices in Luxor including food and drinks. Outside the hotel is a great shop at fair prices but there's is a flood of taxi drivers waiting to follow you as soon as you leave the hotel - again the hotel offers no protection or support from them. Our prearranged taxi for the airport didn't show so we had to get one organized by the hotel staff. This was at an extremely high price (nearly double our previous taxis) but was stuck so had to pay. Again frustrating that the hotel staff allowed them to quote this and not help it guests.
