"We stayed in the family room (changed from double), as the double room was a dark pit. The family room was spacious for 2 people, for a small additional fee. The hotel is in a convenient location, a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal, but there are no signs so its difficult to find. There is a shortcut through the hotel, which we didnt know about until the final day, so ask the staff about that. "The hotel, staff, service we received and hotel grounds were just fantastic. The only gripe we have/had, was that we couldnt walk out of the hotel grounds without being pounced upon (not literally!). Taxis, people with boats, horse and carriages all waiting and pestered us to buy their service. We like walking and can cope with some harrassment, but felt like we couldnt walk out of the hotel grounds, which was a shame. Otherwise, brilliant holiday with this hotel. "
