"Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful. The only glitch was that I booked this stay with OneKeyCash, and hotels.com (i.e., expedia) took my money and gave me a receipt showing no balance due, but then didn't actually pay the hostel! "Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. The best of Zermatt.

"Just perfect. A simple 15 minute train ride to Zermatt. Paul and Esther were amazing hosts. The home is beautiful, quaint , clean, and amazing fly special. You cannot match this opportunity. We will be returning next year. Randa is a quaint local city. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Fireplace is perfect. "
