"Hotel was recommended by a friend that resides in Valencia. The hotel is located just a few steps from Plaza de la Reina and many dining options. The Plaza and the Cathedral are must see, we sat at the Plaza just to take it all in. From the moment we walked in, we knew our stay would be wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff, and rooftop terrace, with a small pool, it felt homey. We were surprised at the accommodations, as we expected a bedroom, not a little studio apartment, with every comfort...

"A highly enjoyable stay. The one bedroom apartment was very clean with excellent and helpful cleaning staff. The bed was comfortable and the shower fantastic, even if it did take a while for the hot water to come through. The location of the premises is hard to beat being midway between the old town and the modern sciences district. Right next to Palau de la Música and the Turia gardens"

"Good overal, we did not get cleaning service 2 days. Of which 1 was adviseer die to the storm, but the second was not. We also were informed by the recepción that water was only included in the first night…. We stayed 5 nights! A bit strange, especially in a place where tap water is not used to drink and you get a coffee machine, which is totally unusable without clean water. "

Lovely, stylish hotel

"The hotel is in an ideal location. Very close to the city centre - with easy access to Turia Gardens -, but on a quiet street with no external noise. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was always someone on hand at reception to answer any queries and help. Breakfast, whilst a little expensive, was nice when we had it on the last day (it would be worth booking this in advance if you're unsure). The building is very stylish and chic, and the rooms - whilst on the smaller side - are clean, comfortable and cosy, with good, quiet air con. You can hear some noise from the corridor, but if you have considerate people also staying in the hotel, it won't be a problem. Light sleepers should ask for a room as far away from the breakfast room as possible, as staff start setting up for this quite early."

Great hotel for a large group stay

"We stayed as a large group on a trip to play a veterans football game. The hotel was very good for catering for a large group and very reasonably priced compared to some of the alternatives. The breakfast was excellent. Not sure if any of us were up to the help yourself Cava for breakfast though ! The location was very handy for the airport which a 15 minute cab ride or easy underground trip. It was right next to the river park as well. It was a little bit further out of the centre of town than we would have liked and there was nothing open near the hotel later on. Still only a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre."

"We booked our first night in Valencia at Travelodge because our flight was arriving late, and the metro is not operating at this time. There are at least 3 hotels in very close proximity to VLC, but there is no signage in the airport to guide you to the pedestrian path and tunnel you need to use. Once we made our way to the hotel, our check-in went very smoothly, the front desk clerk was very helpful and kind. The room is spartan, but the bed is comfortable."
