We enjoyed our stay in Cabo, but unfortunately, we will not be returning. Everything felt overpriced to the point of greed. After a long day of travel, we arrived at the hotel only to be immediately inundated with sales pitches for time-share presentations. It felt uncomfortable and off-putting.
To add to our disappointment, we were not informed about the Christmas dinner buffet that night because the staff was too busy pushing sales. Basic amenities were lacking; there was no coffee available outside of our room unless we wanted to pay exorbitant prices—$25 for just two lattes from Starbucks! Who can afford that?
The hot tub was barely more than a kiddie pool, and although the hotel advertised laundry services, the prices were outrageously high. Additionally, towels were not always available at the pool, which was frustrating.
Overall, this experience left us feeling undervalued as guests. The focus on sales overshadowed any enjoyment we could have had. We were also bombarded with multiple follow-up calls trying to get us to sit through a time-share presentation. It’s clear that our comfort and experience were not a priority. We won’t be coming back.
