Amazing service, we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was so sweet and accommodating. The shuttle service was amazing!! They dropped us off to universal and picked us up and even dropped us around the city. Truly loved staying here!

The property is overpriced for the condition. The furniture in the rooms is old and uncomfortable. The rug was absolutely disgusting. The lobby was not welcoming and not really that clean. Only one old elevator that was not working well and was not clean. The restaurant was not clean. Liked the location to Universal and shuttle but for the price it was not worth it.

The hotel was clean and safe. I loved how close in proximity we were to Warner. Brothers Studios, Universal and downtown. We were able to get a shuttle from the airport for free and used the shuttle twice more in the 4 days we were there. The rest of the time, we needed to pay for Uber bc it was seldom available. That was disappointing but other than that it was a great stay! *my sister thought the mattress was too soft, I didn’t think it was horrible…

The hotel is a hidden gem. Definitely a good price for the location because it has free parking and shuttle to Universal’s studio unlike the Hilton next to the park which you have to pay for parking. The room (ie, king bed for two) was spacious especially the shower which had two shower heads, one being a rain shower head which was a nice bonus. And the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a nice rooftop desk nom the 2nd floor. You can sometime hear people above walking but it’s not too loud but it is an older building. It didn’t bother us. The shuttle driver was on time and so friendly. It’s saved us time and Monday parking at the studios. We’d return to this hotel if we come to Universal’s again.

This was my first time in LA after more than 40 years, and my kids first time, the hotel has a great location for Universal Studios, Warner Studios. The hotel has good conditions, the products are very good quality, the price for laundry is higher than expected $22 for a sweater is too high. In summary is a very good hotel, the staff is very friendly and the location is good if you are a universal fan.

Overall, our experience was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating, rooms clean. The only drawback is there is NO MICROWAVE inside the hotel. You have to go outside, cross the street and use the 1 single microwave in their “sister hotel”…I mean if you want to warm up something quickly at night or on a rainy day, that is such an inconvenience. Please invest in a microwave.

We stayed at Coast Anabelle for 3 nights during the week of Thanksgiving. We were really impressed with all of the staff. Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the front desk to the server at the adjoining restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the convenience of the complimentary shuttle because it saved us money on parking at Universal Studios, and they dropped us off and picked us up right by the front gate. All of the drivers were courteous and punctual. As for the hotel itself, it was very quiet, clean, and had an amazing shower. The only thing that I could recommend is to improve on the pillows. Other than that, we were happy with our stay. We would be happy to stay here again.

Staff at Coast Anabelle Hotel are very helpful and friendly!! The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood with some dining options, not many, but adequate. The hotel also provides bookable shuttles to and from Universal Studios which we highly appreciate. Thank you so much for having my party!

Great place to stay and prompt shutter service to universal studios. Hotel is great and friendly and clean. Room was great. Only negative is that rooms do not have a microwave or on the property. Need to use the microwave across the street to safari hotel.

This was a good base for us when going to Universal (used the free shuttle which worked really well). Nice hotel but felt a little bit tired in areas and we could hear the occupants of the room next door with a baby quite a bit. But wasn’t that disruptive and just bad luck. Used the pool over the road at Safari Inn which was good and kids enjoyed it. Liked the area around this hotel as lots of shops and restaurants within waking distance. Staff were helpful and nice. Would recommend.
