"We stayed at the property a number of years ago and enjoyed it so we returned. Disappointed that the property doesn’t seem to have been maintained since our last visit. Entrance to rooms were grubby, lift out of order. In saying that, staff were all lovely esp the Assistant manager who checked us in. All F& B staff were friendly and helpful. Great location but needs some TLC to keep up with what guests expect today."

The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. "Excellent location to explore the beach, shops, and dining options, everything was very walkable. The location of the hotel is excellent. We had a queen room, #7 with ocean view and enjoyed the lovely sunrise over the ocean from our balcony. The hotel was older than we expected however, the rooms were very clean, the bedding was good and the beds were comfortable! The view from the small deck was a full oceanfront view. The only issue was the wifi. The signal is very weak and you could not...
