"10/10 hotel, skip the food. This hotel is a gem! Firstly, the location is perfect - a very short walk from the train station, right on the boardwalk, and next to an ice cream stand. Stayed in a partial beach view room, which had an amazing view of both the beach and the NYC skyline in the distance, which was incredible at sunset. Would definitely take this over a room directly facing the beach! Room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. The pool, though quite busy on a summer weekend, was great. Be sure to get there early if you want a lounge chair. And definitely BYOB and bring your own food, because the bar at the pool was pretty atrocious. My wife and I ordered salads, which came without dressing. When we requested dressing (for our different salads), the server returned with two cups of salsa. Drinks weren't much better - very sad selection of canned domestic macro factory beers (save for one excellent local IPA), no wine, and poorly made cocktails - my wife's strawberry daquiri was clearly made with undiluted mixer concentrate! Breakfast at the main restaurant wasn't much better - slow, expensive, and pretty underwhelming, though the server was extremely nice. The mezzanine bar was quite lively at night, and had a good selection of cocktails, draft beer, and wine. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"Excellent property and the owner is very nice! We were visiting from Texas and never have been to Long Beach before. Its only about a 45 minute from New York City and love being able to visit New York City and then get some peace and quiet from that busy city. The location of the home is perfect and can walk to the beach about two blocks away. There is a laundry mat around the corner and can knock out your laundry fast. Also tons of restaurants around that are all mom and pop run and the food is really good. You can park right in front of the house and has a nice patio to sit on the deck and can hear the ocean from it. Also owner went out of her way to accomodate our special need requests and was very informative to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you so much again! "
