The hotel was perfect to walk to the lido or local pizzerias (about 20mins) the bus service was frequent and easy to get to from the train station. I'd definitely come again and recommend to others who want a relaxing family friendly experience "

"The location was great . Walking distance to ferry terminal and 10 minute bus ride to station . Have stayed at the Grand Duca on 3 occasions and each time delighted with the view over the harbour . "

"Great views and quiet location. Parking very limited, but I as able to park on property both times. WiFi good in public areas, didn’t work in room. Cell phone signal weak inside as well. I would stay again for the location, but I understand the church may not be renewing contract as a hotel next year (2018)."

"Hotel was in a very good area on the seafront on Southern outskirts of Livorno. The hotel was very clean and staff brilliant. There were small selection bars and restaurants close by and centre of town about mile and a half walk along lovely seafront. Breakfast was very good."
