"If you are looking for luxury lodging this is not it. But it has a very cool and comfortable vibe to it. It was winter when we stayed (June) so we did not use the pool but they were still keeping it clean. The best thing about this property is the service. Property manager (Darius) and his staff did absolutely anything they could to make our brief stay everything we wanted it to be. The property is also very conveniently located to all river/falls tours. Very happy we chose to stay here...

"Maramba was a stopover as part of my drive to South Africa. Although only here for one night, the accommodation was comfortable and the grounds were lovely. I saw a lot of birds, a crocodile and an elephant while sitting on the deck by the river. I had not expected that much wildlife. Katherine at check-in was helpful and amazing. She gets 5 stars. "The accommodation was fair. Located in a convenient and easily accessible location. Catering was good except for breakfast which was very limited. This is a touristy area so the nightclub music is very loud until early hours of the morning even In the week. The property does not have a generator so there is only WiFi access for 6 hours a day. Zambia is currently going through severe power outages, with 6 hours electricity every 18 hours. "
