Hotel was a renovation of an old building. They did it in a funky and pleasing way. I wasn’t crazy about the toilet bowl decor on every floor of the building. Also, I had to sleep with the bathroom door shut in my room since the toilet had a stinky smell. Breakfast was served in the lobby and the coffee machine was a bit challenging and I watched every guess that woke up to it look confused. They are definitely aiming to please but I think they need to look around and observe the guests. The stinky toilet bowl in the room was my biggest issue other than that things were fine.

Good: Clean, long breakfast time, friendly and helpful staff, happy hr provides free drinks and fruit and cakes, spacious and clean common areas including kitchen, near Metro, outdoor area for smoking(belongs to the hotel), comfortable bed and room tempetature, stable water pressure and temperature, with lift Bad: private toilet is very small, no window curtain, locates at a slope which may be difficult for suitcases and people with walking difficulties

We loved the weird style of this place, the mixture of modern and old stuff is pretty cool. There's also a happy hour with wine and beer and a few snacks which we really took advantage of before going out for dinner. The room was perfect for two, we had a big balcony and the bathroom was a good size. We had everything we needed. The only negative thing I have to add which doesn't directly affect this place is there shuttle service of 17 Euros, we had reserved to leave at 830 and the guy never showed up so we ended up leaving with a taxi which is alot cheaper.

Lovely Hotel

Beautiful property and rooms - one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Europe. Metro is nearby and Rossio Square is an easy 10 minute walk. Some pretty cool lookouts nearby too. Super friendly staff and the free nightly happy hour is a nice touch!

Great location close to all the main sights and the castle which is a must visit. We stayed in an apartment and had breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Happy hour in the evening with free wine and beer plus a few nibbles. This was very welcome after a days sightseeing and walking up and down the cobbled streets.
