"We booked an "ocean view cottage" at this "Inn" because of the advertised view. The view of the ocean and beach was 5 star. The bed was clean and comfortable. Furnishings were decent. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is walking distance to the very expansive beach. Those are the good. The bad: It is a motel, the room is an old, dated suite (not a cottage as advertised) in a varying state of disrepair - nothing "nice" about this "quaint" room. This was a dog "friendly" accommodation - we had our dog with us, but she is walked multiple times during the day, stays only on blankets, etc. The carpet in this place had obviously been used multiple times by dogs and not acceptably (or ever) cleaned. Folks, it is amazing what a can of spot shot and about ten minutes can do. Worn out filthy carpet up a stairway to a busted up entry door with a strap metal repair gives the first impression of what one will find inside. Summary: Amazing view, the rest was a real disappointment."

"The views to the ocean were spectacular. And to fall asleep and wake up to the waves crashing was so good. The staff were amazing. Shout out to Tiffany, Jonathan and Aurora. Super helpful and friendly. Lincoln City has a lot to offer - hiking for all levels, beach combing and tide pools, shopping including glass blowing. Definitely want to come back next year!"
