"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"Al llegar, me recibió en recepción la mujer más amable del mundo. Me hizo sentir bien recibida y me dió un juego de llaves para la habitación y a la pensión. La habitación y el servicio: limpios. La pensión se encuentra muy bien ubicada a cuadra y media de la Plaza y la estación de metro Areeta. La zona es muy segura y bien iluminada (os digo yo, que fui a un concierto en Ereaga, regresé en metro y caminé a la Pensión a eso de la 1 de la madrugada). "We had a car but could not afford anything decent in Bilbao, so we decided to stay outside the city. This was a great affordable option. As soon as we arrived there was some confusion about the reservation, but the owner has sorted everything out and prepared a room for us.
