"We really enjoyed our stay here. Just outside of the main street but easy walking distance, making it quiet. Very close to both of the spas. Our room was very large and comfortable. Staff at the front desk were well-informed and always helpful. Sadly, the weather was cold and rainy, but in nice weather, it would have been nice to sit outside on the patio. "

"The hotel is conveniently located and very comfortable room! The staff was very friendly and informative with 24 hr front desk service. The only things that were a little turn down was the noise of the street train and the parking was pricey 24 euros per night. In all, it was a great option for us staying just 1 night. "

"Either I missed the info or it was not made clear that there is only a shared bathroom between the four “apartment “ rooms this hotel offers. Suboptimal I would say. But both the bathroom and the communal kitchen were kept very clean. The rooms are on the fourth floor which is not too helpful with large suitcases as there is no lift. Saying that there was a very nice clerk there at check in who helped. Everything is automated so there is no one to ask questions and the first day I did not...

"The Schlosshotel is nice place to stay in Karlsruhe. It is directly across from the Haubtbahnhof and the main streetcar (tram) intersection. Gave property a 4 because we thought restaurant was pricey and room had no safe or hot water kettle. Front desk staff were very helpful and room was tidy and clean."

"I recently stayed in room 11 with my 2 teenagers: a queen bed, facing a small kitchenette with a bathroom beyond that and another bed in a loft accessible by a ladder. The loft aspect wasn't clear in the description but was a nice surprise for my 19 yo who was craving a little privacy. However had that been the only bed available to me, I would have struggled with the ladder. Another note regarding mobility: this hotel, like MANY others we stayed at in Europe, does not have an elevator *and* the stairs are winding and somewhat steep. I managed fine but could be an issue for some. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was well furnished with a two-burner stove top/hot plate, generous mini fridge, sink and dishes/cutlery/cookware and 2 stools at the end of a raised counter for an eating surface. Much appreciated: two bottles of still water a Nespresso machine & pods in the room. The buffet breakfast was truly outstanding with lots of choices (cheeses, pastries, fruit, etc.) and eggs prepared to order. Great coffee machine to boot. The only negative: we didn't get an access code for the key lockbox the evening before. We arrived to no one on site; it took many emails/texts/calls before we were sent the code. They said it "had been sent via Expedia that morning as in the attached pdf" but there was no pdf--not sure if that was due to Expedia or the hotel. I recommend future guests be certain to get the code before arrival. Otherwise a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!"
