"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. "We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. There is a small outdoor area to sit in - if you like talking to the neighbours as all chalets are close together."

"After many attemps to make contact on the day of arrival via cobtact number and whats app eventually got some communication. I was told at 2pm on day of arrival(5pm check in) that the appartment was o longer available due to previous occupier causing damage which could not be rectified. Had a exact review not so long ago. Poor communication but managed to sort alternative accomadation so break was not ruined. Be cautious"

"This was a lovely stay. The land lady was friendly and very helpful. Clean tidy flat and everything was explained on arrival."

"The hotel and staff were very welcoming. Rooms were very clean. Only disappointing aspect was the breakfast, which I would rate as only fair. Self service Coffee machine that gave poor quality drinks and a basic selection of food. Would stay at the hotel agin but would not pay extra for the breakfast."

"Very friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms really clean and well managed. Breakfast was very good and kids under 13 eat free. Bar and lounge areas are also very good. Great location on the Marina with easy walking access to the city centre or old town. Had a really relaxing stay and the place is also pet friendly which is ideal and also well managed. At this price point it’s absolutely spot on. "

Twistmas Stay at the IBIS

"Just booked a 'Twixtmas' break for my wife and I at the IBIS to recover from the 'demands' of Christmas. Three nights in the IBIS was very good with everything you could want from a budget hotel. Bed was comfy, no noise, good room service convenient for shops and pubs. After various cash back deals the 3 nights cost about £100 which was excellent value. Will be returning in the future."
