"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful."

Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings. "What an amazing vacation. Hotel Antika is snuggled away in a convenient location in Zermatt. Just off the Main Street but still centrally located to restaurants and bars. The hotel has a ski entrance and storage area for all your equipment and the bus to Matterhorn Mountain Glacier is right outside the rear entrance. Picture perfect views of the Matterhorn and a little bar for an apres ski drink. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. "

"The Basecamp is great. You can walk to the ski bus in about 10 minutes. We stayed 3 nights and they picked us up from the train and took us back via their shuttle which made coming and going easy. The room was extremely dry and very warm. The beds were okay. We were 4 adults in a four person room. The top bunks are very hard to get in and out of and the ladder a little tough. Would be great for small children but difficult for adults. The staff was really nice, especially the lady who checked us...
