"The hotel is located within easy walking access to restaurants and stores. I stayed for three weeks and it suited my needs. Rooms are small, but adequately equipped. There was no coffee maker in my room until two days before checkout when one showed up unrequested, which I found odd. The buffet breakfast is over-priced for what is available around the area. "It was a great hotel with best views in Porto. Clean room, great service, nice food. Welcome drink during check in. On the negative side: hotel didn't congratulate me on my birthday. It could be a small gesture like bottle of wine in the room or even a card. Absolutely nothing. During last 10 years travelling and staying in different hotels around the world it was my first birthday when hotel didn't pay attention to me on my birthday...."

"Highly recommend. Beautiful views of Porto across the river, amazing customer service, wonderful spacious apartment. We loved how close we were to the riverfront, dining options, port wine tastings. The kids enjoyed the pool and LOVED the kids club!! They asked to go back the next morning which allowed us to escape for another port wine tasting! Double win! Highly recommend. It’s a beautiful hotel. "

"A warm welcome by staff included the 1st taste of a local Porto Wine. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a larger room with a sofa & kitchenette. River view was beautiful. The most comfortable bed I think we have ever slept in. Very clean throughout. Just slightly away from the Ponte Luis I bridge so it was quieter, thankfully. Easy to get to & although facing a busy road, you couldn’t hear it once inside. Would highly recommend "

"Everything was wonderful except that it did mot feel like there was much recognition of VIP status. No bottles of wine were offered or room upgrade. We had to argue for the room we orginally paid for and also we were downgraded for the end of our stay. It felt like we paid a lot of money ($450/nt) to not be treated like anything special. $450 is a lot of momey in Portugal. or anywhere..it was disappointing. "Property had an industrial boutique feel. Staff were lovely, room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were great! Quirky decor and excellent bathroom. Had a very early checkout so got a shock with cold shower. Rang reception and they switched on the hot water. Would have been good to have known to request this in advance. "Lovely hotel! Large, spacious, beautiful rooms. Our balcony was right on the open square. It was amazing! The bar was awesome and the American bar tender was very nice and helpful. All the staff were wonderful! The very central location was awesome and made the days easy. Such a short walk to the river, churches, the market, everything! Great hotel!"

Great place for a night or two stay close to OPO

"We had a great overnight day here as we had an early flight to catch the next morning. The Front desk staff was extremely helpful and assisted us with anything we asked. Clean, safe, quiet hotel. shuttle was 2 Euro a person and it was on time and took us straight to airport without any issues. "
