"The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, can’t do enough for you in fact. The hotel is convenient for buses the train station and walking to the city centre. Rooms are on the smallish side but good value and the bedding and towels almost sparkle they are so white. The complimentary breakfast is not the best breakfast you’re ever going to have but is fresh and plentiful. Overall a great place to stay, made amazing by its staff. "

"Great location , close to the train station, a 10 minute walk from the city centre and close to a variety of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself had been recently refurbished before our last stay so the room and hallways felt particularly fresh. The breakfast buffet, as always, was excellent and the new menu choices were delicious. Whilst spoilt for choice for eateries within walking distance, the hotel restaurant is worth a try. It offers a great evening menu and really tasty food."

"Comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff. The shower needs some maintenance - I noticed it had leaked onto the floor to the left of the shower screen. Also the shower was leak below the spray head."

"Nice propery in a great location, close to china town, the football stadium and city center. Great space at a very resonable price. A little noisey at bedtime as close to a local pub, but quiets down after that. We would stay here again"

"The car park attached to the hotel is owned by another company. It is very very confusing as the website says £12.50 for 24 hours but when we paid £12.50 at 12.40 pm it says it was valid till 4.50 pm. A sign said something about redeeming your ticket at reception. The receptionist said we shouldn’t have bought a ticket and we should have gone to reception first , yet there is a massive 4 foot sign in the foyer and next to pay station saying pay on entry. "Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "
