"We arrived at 1530, for a 1700 check in and the hotel was utter chaos. Cars everywhere on the ramp causing congestion with no way past. Eventually got into the car park and lugged all our stuff into reception by 1545. The reception area was like a zoo. Bags, skis, and people everywhere. We were eventually seen and told our room would be ready in 30 minutes and to go back. 30 minutes later, I went back and was ignored by 4 receptionists who just kept walking past. "The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

I especially like the kitchen, the cleanness, good walking distance to Chamonix centre, supermarket and Brevent ski resort. I would recommend to my friends who want to come to Chamonix. "

"The property is well located on the edge of the pedestrian zone, easy access to restaurants and mountains. The room arrangements are highly unusual with a wall with two doors separating the bed area from the sofa area. The sofa itself was extremely uncomfortable - it can be converted into a bed but the minute you sit on it, the seat cushion keeps sliding out over the front edge. "I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. It's very calm, quiet and relaxing and exceptionally clean. The Spa is really good and the location is ideal, just a short walk from town and restaurants or the train station and bus stop."

"Extremely friendly and helpful lady on the reception desk called Monia greeted me with a lovely smile on arrival and was very helpful also the next morning at breakfast. She was what made me give all the five stars!! The room was absolutely fine except the pillows which were not comfortable and could be better quality….."
