"We had a suite which was great. Strange to have a dining table instead of proper seating area. If this was changed it would have been even greater. Dinner was OK but nothing to write home about. Breakfast was better. Dining area felt a bit like a school dinner hall. The staff were very helpful. Can get a bit noisy when the wind blows from the east. Rattles the large glass doors. Apart from that we would come back. The pool is good but loungers are limited. Gets busy about 4pm. "

The team, especially our butler Mr Silva, went above the ordinary course of business, to make us feel comfortable as well as relaxed. Sadly the weather was not helping us much. "Loved the great views from the property and the very friendly staff. Location a bit out of the way and very difficult to drive to as quite steep narrow roads in places. Room we had was just average nothing bad just nothing to make me think yeah that was a nice room."

The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly!
