"This was our first vacay with our kids, 5&8. The lawn area, gardens & fish ponds were great. The beach club restaurant was a gem, great prices. The resort had real orchid lei making on Thursday morn for $10 & other fun events. The pools were amazing & never too full. On site grocery store, with the big Times grocery, a 2min walk away, along with Great food too. The kitchen & laundry in the room was great for us. Front desk will give you all the tide, coffee & dishwasher pods you need. My only slight negative that I feel worth mentioning is that the building is older. It’s noticeable in the walls of the rooms (like old stucco) but once you get past that, the resort is well cared for & has everything you need. We will absolutely go back & recommend you go too. Lots of families & seniors alike. We met several people you have gone back 5x which speaks volumes. It’s a little north of the free kaanapali trolley, so you might want a car but we easily walked or Uber’d ($9-15 to whalers village, but parking is $11/day at the Aston so..) We just rented a car for our last 2 days, which we were happy for. We had 8 perfect days here, airport beach is just to the south, walk to the middle & the snorkeling is fantastic! Eels & turtles! "
