"It is a very nice hotel with an elegant feel to it right across from the city park. One could walk to several eating options and it feels safe. One issue is that since it is an older hotel the doors were heavy and had the potential of making a loud noise when closing shut. The sound between the rooms was a bit more than I like. "Lake George is truly a special place for me. I’ve been coming up to lake George for the last 10 years and being able to now share this experience with my mom means everything to me. I love staying at fort William. It is super confident and in between everything we enjoy doing. My family and I always feel safe and the staff are extremely pleasant.
