"We booked 10 rooms as a group and stayed there for 3 nights. We enjoyed our time there and liked it very much. It’s about 30 mins drive from the center Bologna, and it’s quiet but with a lot going on and especially the Saturday morning market was so much fun! The staff are professional and friendly, good breakfast and dinner. The only thing is since it’s a pretty old hotel, you need to be careful with the furnitures and facilities just not to damage anything. I think we will choose it again if...

"We stayed at hotel Guerro for 3 nights during our visit to Bologna, Maranello and Modena. It was an excellent choice as we rented a car and it is much better than staying in Bologna because the parking is easier, the rooms are larger, the area is very quiet and plenty of excellent restaurants around. The hotel is recently renovated the rooms are very modern and the amenities are on par with 5* hotels (shower robes, slippers, shaving set…). "The hotel is located in the absolute best location! The room was very comfortable but there is no cleaning service (new towels) unless you ask in advance. There is also no shampoo and conditioner; just the body wash, and no body lotion. This seems to be the new normal in Italian hotels unless they are 5 star. Not really an issue though because there is a Coop store directly next door. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great."

"This hotel is really well located in the centre, so it's easily walkable to everything you need and lots of major attractions, restaurants, food markets etc. The staff are the best aspect of the hotel, both in reception and in the dining areas.
