"Beautiful estate with a pool to-die-for. Nice breakfast, but no vegan options...I had written the owners with questions ahead of time, but never received a response. And while the stable rooms are large, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear your neighbors (tv, conversations, blowing noses.)"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Laborie Estate. The estate is beautiful, wonderful views, great breakfast and a cozy apartment. Everyday fresh water in the fridge, coffee in the room, everyone was very friendly. Only comment I have is that it felt a bit anonymous and communication wasn‘t too great. We arrived late due to a delay in our flight, and we were just left with a message that due to problems with the credit card they were to cancel our room if we don’t show up till 5pm. "Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about."

"What a gem! Fabulous location in the “country” yet walking distance to town. Exception staff and I mean EXCEPTIONAL! Huge spacious well appointed accommodations. Loved the private driver service. Wonderful restaurant and an amazing full breakfast. Some of the furnishings are ready for an update but overall an authentic, idyllic home away from home. (* note: the bikes need servicing). We LOVED our stay and miss Bonita a her team already. "

"An amazing stay. Service was excellent - in particular Hugo and Abigail stepped in when one of our party was ill, contacting a doctor and the local hospital on our behalf. The villa we stayed in was spectacular, with an infinity pool for the villa area. Food was outstanding as were the wines."
