We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. As other reviewers mention, best to rent a car if you plan on exploring La Paz itself, though the small marina surrounding the hotel is very nice with a few dining options. A taxi to the Malecon is about 10-15 min ride for 200 pesos each way. Beach access was wonderful, older reviews stated there was a fee to enter the beach club, but confirming there is no fee. Miami Vice cocktail was a pool & hot tub favorite for tons of folks! Bartenders were lovely and put on American Football whenever there was a big NFL playoff / college bowl game. If you book a stay with breakfast included at Barco, note you have to order the "American" breakfast on the menu which includes coffee, juice, pastry, and a breakfast item. If you don't specifically order the American breakfast, and even if you order less a-la-carte, you will be charged. Every meal at Barco was absolutely delicious. The gym now has a full set of free weights, 2 treadmills (1 not working), a stationary bike, and mats. Max 2-3 people at a time due to its small size. Agree that staff is one of the best parts - so friendly and helpful. Thank you Hotel Indigo for a lovely trip.

Very nice hotel with excellent quiet beach attached. It is off the main road and requires one to go into the security protected private road, requiring a bit of driving to La Paz, but this makes it quite peaceful. Beautiful setting.

We had an amazing experience. Only downside is we weren’t aware the primary pool was unavailable due to updating and maintenance. Even with this hiccup, we had a great time at the puerta beach club and the wonderful bay.

This remodeled property run by IHG is quite nice - The breakfast options could be improved- The included breakfast was a choice of a bean burrito or an egg burrito - When you’re paying $550 US Dollars per night I think you should have more options ?
