"Stayed for business. I was early for check-in, not only did I get the room, but I was given an upgrade! The room was spacious, the bed super confortable, the minibar very well stocked, good shower and stuff. The breakfast was great! And I also had dinner at their restaurant and it was pretty good too. There are at least 4 restaurants that looked great walking distance. "

"The room was comfortable but check in was via machine, the property has no bar or restaurant and there is nothing in the immediate area. If you have a car and are looking for self catering accomodation this would be a great job. If not then it will likely disappoint."

Downsides were 1)bed comfort, not comfortable at all because one could feel bed springs, 2) the one time room was cleaned (by choice), the sheets were not changed, and lastly 3) air conditioning was turned off by hotel maintenance due to weather being cold outside. "Great Hotel for a reasonable price. A little dated but the price reflects that. Service from front desk , the bar to the very pleasant maids was exemplary. Stayed many times in Madrid easily my favorite hotel now here . Walking distance to everything , metros and bus right outside and the Casa De Liria (Duquesa Del Albas spectacular villa )right in front. "
