It’s Not 5-star experience but it is a bit of a Shangrila and a 3-star hotel with a nice hardworking staff, The swimming pools and views of the nearby mountains are amazing. "Thought the property is beautiful, it needs lots of maintenance. There were several things broken or not working properly. The property’s main attraction, the sauna and the steam room didn’t work. The cabin’s main door lock was broken and the light bulb in front of the cabin didn’t work…. Sometimes we didn’t have hot water in the shower "

"They didn't provide the room I reserved. I have to pay much more for the room . At first they gave me a room in a cabin with no air conditioning. A very strech bathroom . And a very small room with no TV. "

"We spent two nights here and enjoyed a wonderful stay. This hotel is made from a 200 year old ranch and is very beautifully restored. They have kept much of the old style construction and architecture while updating the utilities to create comfortable rooms. "The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The view is amazing, and the grounds are nicely landscaped with native plants. It is really meant to be a local holiday hotel, so the food was good not great, internet was spotty and there was no coffee available when I woke up to work on my computer in the mornings. If they could make coffee available early (5 am would be nice, or put it in the rooms) and improve the internet signal, it would raise my rating. Overall, if I had to...
