"Reasonably decent hotel in the centre of Flers. The room was very basic but clean. En suite was ok. Breakfast was a basket of bread with croissants, juice and a tea or coffee. We used this as a stopover on the way to our ferry home. It is ideal for that purpose and we would stay here again."

We left all our electronic and other things in this area while out the evening we arrived and were surprised to be joined by another guest in the morning! "Very difficult to review a hotel that was closed. We arrived at 3 pm to check in. The gates were closed across the drive and there was no sign of life. Rang the hotel but surprise, surprise the number was out of service. Managed to find somewhere for 3 nights. Apparently we weren’t the first people this had happened to. Locals said it had been closed for a few months. If so, why did booking websites have it as being available? Still waiting for news of a refund 😤. "
