Property was about a 10 min walk to a good shopping area. Rooms were very clean, but a bit on the small side if you have large suitcases and use the sofa bed.

Check in at office is far from accommodation. Google map directs you to an alley around the back of office, which is actually on the main road. They manage many Sakura premises. If checking in at the Hotel, make sure you have the right address. Mini bus dropped us at accommodation, this service is drop-off only. Other guests were waiting in foyer on our arrival, but they were booked in to another Sakura premises. On-site staff are only there at very limited times. We booked a family room, which was a good size and included bathroom with bath and shower, bidet toilet, washing machine and drying rack, as well as kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, kettle and small fridge. No large plates and no bowls provided, only cups, glasses and very small plates. No toaster. Dark hairs on floor of bathroom, husband is bald and I have fair hair. Cleaning of rooms is not provided during your stay. Small closet and another hanging area. Only Japanese channels on TV with no subtitles. Slippers were provided as outside footwear not permitted in room. They provide an instruction leaflet for equipment. It would be helpful if they also provide translation for this leaflet. This Hotel is walking distance to shopping and transport, bus or train.

Very good hotel for family with small kids, the room amenities are great, kitchen, washing machine and bathroom dryer are in good condition, recommended!! The bus stop is only 5 steps from the entrance. They have tv in the bath tub, very cool

The apartment was very good, well located, and in a good building. Cons: check in is in another location, and there is no room service (cleaning the room) during the days that we were there. We were not able to activate the electric stove. I suggest to include instructions only for the electric stove. Overall, it is a great place, and the staff at the central location very helpful and kind. thanks

It was a very convenient location, good for the price . Everyone was very polite . The only thing we missed were the Japanese pijamas the other places usually provide ! (I guess because we used an “apartment room” ) other than that it was great .

This company has check-in at a guest centre located a short walk from Kyoto Station where the staff were multi-lingual and very helpful and kind. We were able to leave our bags until check-in and also book a free shuttle service to our accommodation. The room itself and the beds were quite comfortable, and having a washing machine was awesome. This location in particular is quite close to some great places to eat and its about a 10 minute walk from Shijo station which gets you pretty much anywhere else. Great place to stay!!

The location is very good, room size is small so its better to take family suite for 2+ guests. A kitchenette is available for basic cooking plus a washing machine. Just in front of a bus stop so it's very convenient. Metro is a good 10 min walk. Overall good stay, staff were accommodating and nice. Would suggest to provide room cleaning facilities atleast once in 2-3 days. We stayed for 5 nights but no cleaning was provided.

Comfortable stay with a great location. If you're on the taller side you may find it rather small but still a nice place. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to station where you can purchase a ticket for the bullet train to travel or buy an IC card to use the local transportation. A great spot for the price.

A place is close to bus 50 going to Kyoto station. If you wish to walk it is a bit of a stretch to the station. Good facilities with a washing machine in place to do your laundry mid trip. Clean - a small kitchen hence to breakfast in the facilities provided.

Great location and clean and spacious property. would be good to have more coffee sachets in the room. When we advised the property that our international adapters didn’t work, they were not able to provide ones that could be used which was a bit of a shame. Bike rentals were also not available which we had hoped to use.

Huge beds and a large room compared to most Japanese hotels. There was a washing machine in the room which was great too! They don't clean the room during your stay, but provide plenty of linen and bags for the bins. The front desk isn't always manned, and there were some confusing instructions sent to us about checking in but we just headed straight to the hotel and it was fine! :-)

It was not stated clearly too therefore advice to other tourists: This place is a wonderful place to stay in. Take the bus(230 Yen per trip (Per Adult)! do not attempt to walk to the hotel, it is further than it looks from maps. Since you would be taking the bus, advice to not bring huge luggage but hand carry. Take Bus 50 from B platform at Kyoto Station, you will from just opposite the Stay. The room has kitchen, cutleries, microwave, washing machine, just like a house. Really comfortable stay. Since you might be taking the bus quite often, might like to consider day pass for bus(i got a complementary one with my Shinkansen tickets which cost 900 Yen). Note: there is staff only from 7am-11am, 4pm-9pm. And going back to Kyoto station is just bus 50 away (15 mins). Bus stop to Nijo castle and other attractions is 10 min walk away to the bus stop.
