I liked the chef and breakfast service. He was very polite and considerate when preparing our breakfast. I would prefer the room to be cleaned everyday rather than every two days.

An overnight trip in Kyoto to check out the textile area of Nishijin. Hotel Ninja Black was in the perfect location for this - half way beteen this area and pleasant walking distance to the main shopping area of Karasuma The hotel is new, rooms are spacious for Japan (bathroom too), comfy, modern, clean, super quiet, and a great price. Front of house staff were all very welcoming. Overall a perfect stay. Thanks!

Highly recommended small hotel in Kyoto
Brand new, excellent property, very well maintained, located in a quiet area of Kyoto, near the Imperial Palace. Appears to be a bit out of the way, however the walks to the nearest bus & subway stations are not so bad, especially when the weather is good. Not a huge variety of places to eat at around, a couple of supermarkets within a walking distance. Rooms are cleaned once every 3 days for free, but change of towels is available upon request at reception. Nice small restaurant area where breakfast is served overlooking a zen garden. One can relax, read, enjoy tea/coffee & cookies for free here after 10AM and reconnect with others. The rooms are fairly spacious, have a small fridge and a variety of beauty amenities. PJs and slippers in room. Bicycles at a charge of 1,000 yen per day. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

quiet neighborhood great architecture and design. the staff was exceptional. close to the imperial palace and Nijo but easy to bike as they rent them! great room. everything was great.

A great new hotel in the heart of Kyoto
Very new hotel, located a few minutes' walk from the Imperial Palace. Business hotel-sized rooms, but well appointed with excellent amenities. Great bed and comforter. Good sense of humor throughout. AMAZING VALUE!

The hotel and its staff were excellent. All the staff were always friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautifully designed and clean. The hotel is in a quiet residential area which is a little bit far away from the main area of Kyoto / public transport however we would happily stay there again if we visiting Kyoto!

I loved the Ninja theme! The rooms are larger than expected, with excellent air conditioning, fantastic beds to sleep in, and a great shower. You could also use the bathtub if you prefer. I really enjoyed the decor and how the theme carried through from the lobby to the rooms. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, and the hotel itself was fairly quiet while we were there. If I ever find myself in Kyoto again, I'll be staying at this property.

Fabulous new hotel, great big bed. Big room. You can get to major sights by taxi or public transportation. Price is good, but you might spend a fair amount on transportation.

フロントロビーに飾られている大量の錫のやかん、カフェテリアには茶道で使われるお釜や京都観光に大変役に立った書籍の数々、オーナー様のご趣向の深さがうかがえます。ゆっくり楽しませていただきました。 If you are traveling in Kyoto, this hotel is highly recommended. Access to sightseeing spots was good, and there were staff who could speak English, which was very convenient. 从京都车站乘出租车约15分钟即可轻松到达。走路5分钟就是京都皇宫。酒店也有单车借给你用。去哪里都很方便。房间打扫的清洁价格也便宜。如果朋友要到京都，我肯定会推荐这一家。
