The hotel room is spacious and clean. The Times Square shopping center is just across the street and there are many restaurants there. Other major shopping centers are also in a walk distance. Highly recommended.

The property was fine, however, the receptionist at first seemed to be quite desperate to put me in a twin room when i ordered a double bed. It was resolved when i came back a few hours later to formally check in. The hotel was in a superb location, but just seemed slightly 'tired' to me.

Sadly an old property with some refurbishment. Booked king bed room told not available and offered two single beds where the length was not enough so they said will upgrade but still two single beds. Staff not so friendly and lifts cluncked as doors opened and closed causing concern they would break down. Overall not a pleadant stay but on a positive note amazing location.

The hotel staff are friendly, they provide excellent service and the rooms are impeccably clean. However, the quality of food and the service on the restaurant side is a different story. This hotel may not be a great fit for westerners especially for meat eaters. While there are a lot of selections for the breakfast buffet, there is barely any meat dish available. The buffet is heavy on carbs and vegetables. There's an everyday cheese or chicken sausage and some cold cuts, very bland. That's it for the meat option. There's also some type of Indian chicken dish, but if you're used to having bacon or pork sausages, you won't find it here. The quality of the food is also questionable as there are mornings where the food is visibly left over from the day before with veggies wilting and visible oxidation and food is cold from the fridge. Even the scrambled eggs are cold...fridge cold. There is a noodle and congee station but this is rarely staffed. In our 5 days there, I never once was able to order anything from this station as there is no staff that mans it. Even the afternoon cocktails selection isn't that great and the bartender is always missing. It's very hard to order any kind of drinks.

Ideal location. Great for woman traveling solo. Close by lots of malls to shop. Also close to get facial, massage (foot and body)….Some malls offer other activities (miniatures display…)to do besides shopping…close by choice of food amazing, delicious and safe (for ex- Jalan Alor Food street). We stayed 3 nights at Melia. The staff was helpful and kind, from the security guard outside the hotel, porter, manager, receptionist, and the housekeeping personnel. Our room is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is good. At Melia, we feel like almost home. The hotel is in a strategic location for shopping, etc. We definitely stay here again when we are in KL.

We stayed in this property during our visit to KL. Its a nice hotel with very cleaned, spacious rooms right in front of berjaya square. We stayed on high floor and the view was awesome. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. Buffet breakfast was intercontinental with huge variety.

Room was not cleaned properly and was falling into a bit of a disrepair. Cleaning was not good could smell the dust and areas had dust. The room we stayed in had some plumbing issues. sink taking long for it to drain. Shower wasn’t cleaned and the sink had a rim of dirt built up.

The hotel is right next to the monorail station IMBI which makes it easy to go to Sentral station and then take the express train to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful. The porters are so genuinely nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walk to lots of shopping and dining options.
