"The place is brand new. Very well maintained. Great service. Highly friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good dining options. Amazing pool. There are not too many attractions close by. Perfect place just to relax or to spend a day in between Patras and Athens or south Peloponnese. Highly recommended!"

"Wonderful little property in a cute peaceful true Greek town right on the bay. Owners of hotel Galaxidi were warm and welcoming. Room was clean with air, a precious balcony overlooking town and a homemade breakfast to die for at a price that was hard to beat. They even gave us a jar of homemade jam as a parting gift. And there was parking right out front. Fantastic dining at Steki’s on the water and a delightful walk around town. It was the true feeling of Greece. "

"Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible. Overall, highly recommended. "

"Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed. The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. Very helpful staff

"This is a budget hotel, so I expected very basic accommodations which is what we got. The air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast is not included but was available for €12pp. They wanted to charge the same for children we they asked for a discount and they obliged. The front desk worker told us we could have his parking spot right in front of the hotel which was very generous. We sent some laundry across the street and when the laundry closed for the day, the hotel held our clean laundry for us until we could return, even though we had checked out. They were very accommodating. This hotel was a stopover on a longer road trip."
