"Overall, the hotel is very nice. The lobby is especially clean, as they were maintenancing it when we arrived, and the service was impeccable. Our flight was delayed by an hour, so it was a relief to know that the check in goes all the way to 5 am. The desk clerk was prompt, helpful, and very patient with us."

"Great property location if you need to stay a night near the airport after a late flight / catching an early flight the next day. The hotel is connected to the train station via covered pedestrian overpass and just a stone-throw distance away. Check-in staff spoke good English and my check-in process took no time at all. I booked a regular double room and it's much bigger than most Japanese hotels at this price point. I can literally do a cartwheel in the room without hitting anything :) My room had a view toward the city which is nice, enjoying the sun setting behind the mountains and night city lights. Amenities are pretty standard and of good quality. The breakfast buffet is at 54th floor - the view itself is worth the price! But do go early as the best seats will be taken very fast. Food selection is better than most Japanese hotels at this price point too. The hotel provided free airport transfer in the morning with several departure times to choose from and it's reserved during check in. The trip took 10 minutes from door to door. It's a huge stress saver as most people will be over-packed by the time they head home after shopping at the outlet mall nearby!"

"There was no room key and punch in PIN # to open some of the Hotels. I could take whatever amenities I want,It was Reasonably to eliminate the labor of the hotel staff. "

"Everyone spoke fluent English!!!!! Which is very rare in Japan! LOCATION! Property and amenities is the best I’ve experienced while visiting Japan(7 days) we stayed here for two nights! Steak house around the corner recommended by a staff was excellent! Small plate style, which was great you got to taste everything and order more of your favorite dish. Super duper cheap!!!! Only cost around $35 with amazing red wine! WOW Train station and bus stop was couple of minutes from the hotel. It is like apartment style. I do believe it was an apartment complex. Laundry was a plus but dryer had no heat(idk if it’s a traditional thing or not?!) took a long time to dry but we didn’t mind! "

However, I must say that the team at Eko-in really goes above and beyond to make for an incredible experience from start to finish. They guide you step by step upon check-in and let you know what to expect along the way. Things not to be missed: -4:30 pm guided meditation -In-room massage therapy by monks -7pm cemetery walk (if it doesn’t rain, ours got cancelled due to weather) -7am morning prayer -7:30am fire ritual Cannot recommend highly enough!! 🏯🍜🎋📿"

"My family had a truly amazing stay here. One of the best experiences of our trip through Japan. The temple and surrounding area is beautiful. The staff spoke excellent English and the vegetarian food was great. Get up for the morning prayers if you can. "
