"We had an incredible stay at Rusty Bunk Villa, which comfortably accommodated our group of six. "This is a whole house! 3 bedrooms, 2 twin size beds and 2 queen size beds, and 2 bathrooms. There is even a full kitchen with cooking utensils. The views are amazing!"

"The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. "This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. "Stayed for 3 nights here. The hotel, staff and service were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent; dined one night at the bar beside the pool and the fried vegetarian wraps were delicious. Pool was clean and so refreshing. Easy to walk into the city for eating options. A haven on the hill

"Lovely hotel sat overlooking Kandy and a sanctuary away from the business of elsewhere. As per other reviews, the road up is quite steep and winding but all of the drivers we had were very careful - use the Pick me app (Sri Lankan Uber) and it will cost about £1.50 in a tuk tuk and £2.50 in a taxi We found the staff to be exceptional - from the very moment you arrive in reception the whole team make you feel so welcome …special mentions to Gobi who was super helpful and Oliver and Olivia who give fantastic massages in the spa. Food in the restaurant was a good standard and reasonably priced, but whether it is there, your room or the infinity pool, this place is all about those beautiful views "
