"We had a great holiday at Seagull Apartments in Kos. The owners are friendly and very helpful, the room decor basic but nice, and everything was very clean. Good value for money and perfect location, within walking distance to the beach, with a supermarket and a nice taverna next door. A bus to the centre of Kos town stops outside the gate of the b&b which, however, is quiet and surrounded by a lovely, well kept garden. "The room was great. It had great view, it was clean, it had everything I needed. The staff was helpful, friendly and well informed. The bike/car rental at the entrance of the hote- not part of it- was conveniently located and I rented a bicycle for 5 Euros. The restaurant was great for breakfast. Very delicious food and a great variety of selection. (I did not try the dinner as I thought EU120 was a bit too much-went to Fidelio's at downtown for an excellent meal). "Whole day in Kos was rubbish from getting a taxi to the hotel taking over 1 hour just to wave one down and the hotel wanting to charge us $65 euro for a 2km lift. The hotel didn’t have a bellboy I had to carry my luggage and my pregnant wife luggage up 2 sets of stairs. The aircon in the room barely works we were both sweating all night and could not sleep due to heat will never come back here again."
