"Lai Thai is in a great location with great swimming pool. Kids pool, lane swimming for serious swimmers plus lovely general swim area. Sun beds and umbrellas made it perfect ! Lovely large rooms. Very comfy bed with good size balcony. Kitchenette with full size fridge freezer was perfect for making breakfasts etc. The air con is excellent, if any issues then maintenance staff were very fast to remedy any problem. "Quaint botique hotel. Loved staying here. It's off the main street so there is no noise from the many vehicles and tuktuks that transport people to and from Ao Nang. You can walk to Ao Nang beach takes about 20 mins or just grab a tuktuk from the main road for $100baht. "The room was nice. Nothing special. Hard bed(which I like) very nice view from my room of the ocean. Now here are the downfalls, which for these reasons I would not stay here again or recommend anyone to stay there. "Somebody was at the ferry port to assist us to the lobby. Check in was quick, Villa was beautiful. But Mosquitoes were everywhere. We found other bugs in our bedroom. Such an unpleasant way to sleep/get ready. Location was perfect for us but our neighbors were bothered by the music nearby keeping them up until 1am. Close to the beach. "
