"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. "Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "The service was friendly and welcoming. The room was not so good. Quite small. bed was comfortable. Shower was very small but with plenty of hot water. no refrigerator. poor amenities. In the shower there is one dispenser with some liquid that is a one-for-all (shampoo conditioner and soap). It is very diluted and of poor quality. No slippers in the room. "Above average breakfast and friendly staff. Overall quiet Parking is a challenge, many areas in this non-smoking hotel have a strong smoking smell, overall dated. Flimsy shower curtain can transfer you bathroom into a swimming pool. In case you are wondering, no AC and open windows might provide a lot of information about your fellow hotel guests. To be fair, there was always some wellness program which I did not participate as well as special evening dinner events."

"Beautiful location in wine region. The hotel itself is a stunning building. My room was supposed to be a single but really felt like a ballroom which a great balcony. The restaurant, which is attached to the hotel, is award-winning and a must-try if you stay here. Baden cuisine at its finest, plus excellent local wine paired with the food. "
