"Property is off the main road, but close to local food favorites (serabi notosuman, sosis Solo) also 4 minute walk to a batik store. Lobby is small and tight parking is available. Rooms are spacious and stylishly decorated. Very pleased with stay. One down side, there were people swimming past midnight the first night of our stay. They could be heard from the rooms facing the pool. Strict pool hours should be enacted/access to pool should be limited to normal hours. Despite this would definitely...

"A pity that this once great hotel has fallen in disrepair. Old towels, sheets and dressing gown had holes, swimming pool dirty as most women went in fully clothed wearing hijab, restaurant empty except for breakfast when its full but clientelle felt comfortable wearing pajamas...a two star hotel frequented by locals... "We were disappointed with this hotel, although that may also be coloured by the fact we didn’t like Solo very much. When we first got in the room, it was very musty smelling (which is being generous about its smell). The room was very basic (which is fine) but there was no place at all to hang out outside despite having a big garden space. The garden is all plants and water features, no tables. The location was convenient to the train station but not really to “downtown”. Walking in Solo is not...

"Overall oke banget untuk hotel budget. Letak cukup strategis. Pelayanan bagus dan cepat. Hanya pembuangan wastafel di kamar kami agak seret sehingga air lama turunnya. Parkiran kecil namun ada layanan valet gratis. Dinding lumayan tipis sehingga orang ngobrol di luar kamar terdengar jelas."

"The good: Lovely staff who are always willing to assist. The friendly greetings each time we walked past the reception desk made us smile. Comfortable room. The bad: Food at the restaurant not great for the price. The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights."

"We kept having to ask for towels, bathroom mats, and toilet paper. Cleaning was average. With a little more effort the facilities could be kept clean."
