"The room was big but worn out, but OK for someone who is just staying there only to sleep. The service is at the hotel or professional, also the breakfast was fantastic The pool was just amazing however it was close to the restaurant and we felt like we are being watched all the time especially because we were wearing bikinis. The staff at a Ramada was very helpful in all our wishes, however the receptionists could speak better English. We would stay here again."

"Almost deafening noise, shaking the walls, in the very early morning (6 am) from a very noisy event the hotel actually allowed to happen it its own parking lot, plus an all night noisy dance party in the neighboring room. It seems impossible that a 3 start hotel would prioritize making noise on megaphones at 6 in the morning, and allowing all night dance parties in guest rooms, to be more important than letting normal guests of the hotel sleep. "Stayed in the deluxe room in front if the swimming pool. Couldn't open the door with the lock on arrival but was quickly rectified by the staff. The Wi-Fi was quite reliable inside the room, the TV setup was nice. Some lights didn't function although there was enough that lit up the room. The double bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space inside the room. The safe's digital keys weren't working but was quickly provided a set of keys by the staff. The included breakfast was delicious...

"Impressive heritage decor and artefacts layered upon a modern construction that is airy. Spacious room and feature swimming pool. Easy rickshaw distance to both palaces and to batik museum. Good value. Best nights’s sleep with high quality towels etc… Staff all very helpful. "

"We were disappointed with this hotel, although that may also be coloured by the fact we didn’t like Solo very much. When we first got in the room, it was very musty smelling (which is being generous about its smell). The room was very basic (which is fine) but there was no place at all to hang out outside despite having a big garden space. The garden is all plants and water features, no tables. The location was convenient to the train station but not really to “downtown”. Walking in Solo is not nice so it would have been better to be closer to more things (or anything other than the train station, for that matter). "
