"We were very close to Carlsbad Caverns and a straight run to Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The rooms were neat and clean and had all amenities. Parking was sufficient. our trip was in November, so the pool was closed for the season. There are no restaurants within 17 miles from the hotel. Breakfast was packaged cold cereal, oranges and apples, packaged muffins, and coffee (not what we expected). There was one table and 4 chairs for all of the quests. Also, only 3 or 4 English channels...

"Very warm welcome, spotlessly clean and modern - the TVs have built-in Chromecast is great. Beds very comfortable and even the pillows were really good! The only slight disappointment was breakfast, which was lacking in choice and quality. Even so, I would stay here again when in Carlsbad."

"Clearly a new/modern hotel on the south end of town. Very average buffet breakfast, courteous staff and very convenient location. My TV was not working so i called the front desk several times and no one answered so I went to the front desk and no one was there. Remembering seeing the front desk person outside the previous day i went outside and sure enough there he was. He came in and immediately began trying to find the problem/solution. "They're giving the place a facelift and there's slight construction visible. Looking very good so far. Only thing not quite up to par for this visit was missing handle on shower knob that had a new and extremely stiff/hard to turn valve to operate the shower but was still usable. Parking here is excellent for my truck with trailer and always a good quiet stay."

Great place to stay when visiting national parks

"White's City Cavern Inn was clean and comfortable with spacious rooms. It's location is ideal for visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Breakfast included a selection of cereals, muffins and fruit. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful."

"We chosen this spot as a 2 night stay so we could visit Carlsbad Caverns. What a great location. Short drive to the park. As for the amenities everything was top notch for an older building....and so so clean. I dontoften tip the cleaning staff byt I did this time. Leo at the front desk was amazing and helpful. We needed supplies for our road tri and Walmart was right next door and walkable. Diner two nights in a row at the Chinese Buffet 5 min walk. Was.a.little sad that the hot tub was out of order but thesethings happen. Breakfast at hotel amazing both days. They also put out cookies at night. Coffee always seemed to be on and hot."
